Payton PawPrint

Matthew was the editor-in-chief for the Payton PawPrint – Walter Payton College Prep’s student newspaper. During his tenure with the PawPrint, he focused on local politics and education. Matthew interviewed various Chicago Public School board members including Jaime Guzman and then Vice-president and now Illinois deputy governor Jesse Ruiz. His coverage included City Club of Chicago, City Hall, CPS board meetings, along with numerous Payton and community events.
